Running has not been going well since we got back from Disney. I’ve been out for some short runs, but my shins and calves hurt and I just can’t seem to get going again.
I’m now armed with a new pair of shoes and a plan, so hopefully I can get back on the bandwagon. Of course, my shoes are discontinued, so this will be the last pair before I have to find something else I like. The plan is to start the Podrunner Freeway to 10K Plan over again from the beginning. I had worked up to week 6/7 before the Disney trip, but I think now it is better to start back at the beginning and focus on going a little faster.
DH and I are going to register for two local 5K’s before the end of the year, he will likely run both with Thing One and Thing Two in the stroller. I’d really like to improve my times from this summer.
