Supercat vs. The Dogestator

Thing One got up at 5:30 AM to begin work on his epic graphic novel… yawn…

Well Controlled Chaos Publishing proudly presents – Supercat vs. The Dogestator (interpretation provided for those of you not fluent in seven-year-old writing)

Once upon a time there was a cat. She drank super-power juice. She could talk. One the other side of the world…

A dog made a grow machine and zapped himself. He grew 16 feet. He attacked the city. But Supercat saw him and zapped him with x-ray vision.

The battle rages. Supercat takes a hit. Finally she coughs up a hairball with spikes. She opens it and spikes shoot out. The Dogastaor dies. The end. Or is it?

Supercat vs. The Dog Attacker comes out July 8

test shots from new camera

Santa brought one of my Christmas presents early and I’ve been working hard to learn how to use it.

So far, I’ve had no shortage of test subjects:

I’ve made no secret of my love for my Canon S3IS, especially for outdoor photos. But I’ve been wondering for a while if I’m smart enough to use a DSLR. While I’ll keep the S3 for a backup, I think I’m really gonna like the Canon T2i.

Low light photos have always been a problem for the S3. I’ve NEVER gotten good shots of my Christmas village. Here’s a comparison of the cameras, both set to program mode and auto ISO.

And a bonus from the T2i:

Obviously, I still have a lot to learn, but I’m excited!
